Seriously Fun Weekend!

  We just wrapped up our weekend of classes with Mary Grace and have TONS of pictures to share.  Mary Grace arrived on little sleep and her flight was delayed so shortly after she arrived she took a quick little nap in the car.  Kah-Mei (owner of Fontwerks) planned a trip down from Canada to surprise Mary Grace by showing up to support her for the weekend.  So, we let Mary Grace sleep and when Kah-Mei arrived she woke up Mary Grace!  As you can imagine, Mary Grace was so surprised (and a little disoriented) to have Kah-Mei there when she woke up.  It was a wonderful thing that Kah-Mei did to come down and support her! 

The classes were filled with great journaling and stories from Mary Grace as well as an abundance of products.  The "on the spot, scrapbooking crop" turned out to be so much fun.  Mary Grace drew names after the class and did a layout for that winner right there on the spot .  We have lots of pictures of the different layout that she did.  She drew SEVEN names and completed layouts for each of those lucky winners in 2 hours and 40 minutes!  That is some serious talent!  Some of the layouts took her less than 20 minutes to complete! We need to give a little shout out to the Manufacturers that were so generous with product donations for Mary Grace to raffle off.  Thank you to Fontwerks, Scenic Route and American Crafts!

We are headed out to Vegas in the morning for the  Memory Trends Trade show.  We will update you with all of the new things that we see along the way as we always do!  We will be bringing back lots of product samples and things to give away at the Memory Trends Crop on October 21st.

Super big thanks to Grace and the ladies at the Scrapbook Oasis for a FANTASTIC Friday night class/crop. I had the best time! I made it home by 1:15am and was so wired from the evening that I coudln't fall asleep. All the ladies at the Friday crop were so nice and friendly and talented. Winning an original Grace layout was pretty cool too. Thank you Grace!
I will remember Friday's crop for a long time. It was soooooo much fun and really made me thankful for this incredible hobby. :)

What a great way to take my very first class ever! (Even tho I've been scrapping for years!) MG is a natural teacher and the layout we did Friday was so cool! LOVED meeting MG and Kah-Mei in person, seeing Tara again and meeting Lisa Mc. And, my table mates were the nicest gals... I had the bestest night!!! Thanks Oasis! :)
