We went to two premier parties tonight... we are feeling very Hollywood
by the way! First was Creative Imaginations, it was a little chaotic
but that was okay because it is preparation for the next few days. It
was also worth it because we got to see Karen Russell's new line in
person. (just can't seem to get enough of her today!) Wow, talk about
beautiful, true to Karen's talent her new Narrative's line, Bloom is
doen with vibrant, fresh colors named, Sunshine, Poppy and Meadow.
She's been a busy woman these last few months because she also added some great new product to her Antique Cream and Wildberry lines. What really excited us were the sweet frame easel albums that she added to each of her lines (they have been getting raves) along with 3 new Journaler's note books and Swatch books. Simply beautiful! We also ran into an old friend while we were there. Hi Cheryl!
From the CI party we headed over to SEI where we continued to be impressed. They have released four new lines, Poppy, Dill Blossom, Chick-a-dee and Chick-a-doo. These lines are all very different but they are also very cute. Seriously can't wait until we get these in.
Back to Karen Russell... she was a busy girl today. This morning she taught her 6 hour photography workshop, which became 7 hours. Everyone walked away with lots of info to put to good use and new techniques to try. She has so much information to offer on this topic. And tonight the little energizer bunny was still going. Karen taught her Interactive Scrapbooking class after doing make and takes at the CI premier party. This class showed everyone how to make great pages that include more photos and journaling in clever and unique ways. If you weren't able to attend her class, or if you were and just want to learn more, Karen is going to be teaching an online class and we will let you know the details as soon as she releases them. In the midst of this class everyone was treated to hot fudge sundaes from McDonald's where we had to jump behind the counter to help get it done, no literally jump behind the counter... here you can see Nora sampling the fries (she was double dog dared)!

oooohhh, Noraaaaaaaa.
I bet you for sure violated a health code by using your fingers instead of that silver fry picker-upper.
